There’s a campaign by this man Gareth Morgan to get rid of cats in New Zealand entirely in order to make it “pest-free” for native wildlife and encouraging people to keep their current cat as their last. At the moment, he has a petition “lobbying local governments to require registration and micro-chipping of cats to facilitate the eradication facilities for unregistered cats”.
While I understand what he’s trying to do for the wildlife of New Zealand, it’s cruel to cats. In a FAQ, when asked, “So are you suggesting that I just go out and have my cat euthanised?” he answers, “Not necessarily but that is an option …”. He even mentioned in an interview that if a cat was to wander into his property, domesticated or not, he would trap the cat and be rid of it. If we do not find a way to get rid of our cats, or it is impossible for us to keep them indoors 24/7, he encourages us to make this cat our last. What will happen to the poor kittens and cats at the SPCA needing a forever-home? It’s just seriously upsetting.

ughhh what do i do with my life next year
okay, so we have three choices of classes out of six. it’s either
animation or special effects (i picked sfx)
game design/development or cinematography (i picked cinematography)
maya or pre-visualization concept art (picked pre-viz)
i wanna take special effects, and it lines up really well with cinematography. It’s film-based. But at the same time, I’m really interested in game-design and development but then it would be wise to take animation with that, which i HATE. It’s a weird combination of classes. But I really want to work on this project, where I want to create a supernatural video game. Or a short mini-game/demo. I could always do film and attempt to do game design/dev and programming in my spare time. I’ll have to model characters, rig them, maybe attempt to animate the movements myself or get someone else to do them. Animation can be someone else’s problem and I can learn to code and do the game design myself. and then hone my skills/practice how to sculpt digitally so I can make Dean and Sam’s stupid faces.
Hell, if people were able to make slender and that’s such a simple concept, with a little bit of work and time and patience, maybe I can do it…maybe

and my derp ninja bear “moosie”/jarrod derpalicki signed by jim beaver. he lol’d. i was supposed to get signatures from all of the spn people that were there but meeting them was enough c: mark p, sebastian, aldis hodge and jim beavs woop woop. DAAAAAAAMNNN ALDIS HODGE IS FOINNNEEE. i will still forever regret not going armags when mark sheppard was there :c
and i asked jim for a hug/told him i had a bad week and he was all, “awww, hang in there.”
